A mindless journey through the world of music (jazz, soul, funk, latin and reggae), cinema (mostly Asian) and life in general

Because I play the sax I thought I would list my top 5 tenor sax players followed by many others that deserve honorable mention. So here they are:Gene Ammons, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Johnny Griffin, Stan Getz, Michael Brecker, Booker Ervin, Sam Rivers, Wayne Shorter, Joshua Redman, Branford Marsalis, Yusef Lateef, Ben Webster, Warne Marsh, Hank Mobley, Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, Eddie Lockjaw Davis, Tina Brooks, Ike Quebec, John Klemmer, Harold Land, Charlie Rouse
I'm sure there are countless others I may have forgotten but that's some of my many favorite tenor sax players.

The dvd pick of the week goes to the classic kung fu masterpiece The 36th Chamber of Shaolin starring Gordon Liu. A classic piece of 70's kung fu cinema that should not be missed! This Dragon Dynasty dvd has been beautifully restored and contains an English language track for those that don't like subtitles.
There are those out there to claim to like reggae music but when questioned can only tell you they like Bob Marley.
I could go on and on but figure I'll stop here as I've probably offended 3/4 of the world. Oh well.....
This Simpson's episode will show you how most Americans view soccer. ZZZZZZZZ
